About Kathy Swanger

Kathy Swanger is a life long resident of Marion, Ohio.  Kathy graduated from Harding in 1981 and Bowling Green State University in 1985.  She has spent her entire career in education teaching Social Studies, Drop Out Prevention, Technology, and now teaching the next generation of educators.  She retired from Marion City Schools in 2015 and began working in the Elgin Local Schools as the Digital Media Specialist.  Kathy accepted her next challenge in education as a teacher at Tri-Rivers Career Center preparing the next generation of educators and is now back at Marion City Schools helping teachers prepare lessons and embed technology in their classrooms.

Kathy is part of the international faculty for Flipped Learning Global initiative.

Kathy is a long time member of Epworth United Methodist Church where serves on multiple committees and teaches a weekly Bible study.
